Revolution Acres encourages ordinary people to own or co-own real land together. The goal is not necessarily for every person to buy a private estate, but for many people to hold meaningful shares in places they can visit, improve, use, and belong to. Ideally, members could gradually own shares in land in several states, creating a nationwide network of places that cannot be controlled by a single landlord, employer, corporation, institution, or government agency.
Communities
Each property can become a community that people visit every month, every weekend, or whenever they travel through the area. Members can meet one another, make friends, share meals, camp, build, learn skills, create businesses, play games, hold events, and steadily improve the land. Every community should clearly publish its ownership structure, rules, expectations, costs, accommodations, and decision-making process online so that people can understand the place before they arrive.
Outreach
Revolution Acres will reach out state by state to people who want to buy land together, landowners interested in new uses for their property, existing communities, cooperative organizations, local businesses, recreation businesses, builders, farmers, artists, and organizers. Outreach will also study land opportunities, local economies, supply chains, political power, and the practical rules that affect what people can build. The purpose is to help independent groups find one another and turn shared ownership from an idea into a growing network.
Videos
The Revolution Acres video channel will examine the real-world dangers created by concentrated wealth, corporate power, military power, and government power—and explore what ordinary people can build in response. Videos will investigate every state, study available land, visit communities and businesses, explain different ownership models, discuss local rules, and document the gradual creation of the network. The channel will connect political analysis to a practical proposition: people need places of their own, and those places can be owned, visited, and built together.
